Thunderfoot Lorefield brings a highly eclectic set, slicing through genres like a warm knife through butter. His years of experience in rock, country, folk and gospel are evident in his song choices, and in his light-hearted delivery. Each show is unique, and most shows will have something never heard at a TL show before, as his repertoire and arrangements remain fluid and surprising.

6pm Beth Odets

Beth Odets is a classically trained concert violinist who threw it all away to become the greatest itinerant fiddlist in Second Life. "I just try not make it sound like cats having sex" -Beth Odets .

7pm Phemie Alcott

Phemie has been a singer songwriter since 1993 and has loved playing in Second Life since 2007. Along with her RL performing career, she has enjoyed playing to people from all over the world here in this warm and supportive environment of SL music. Her songs are introspective piano based tunes.

LB is a soulful, gravelly voiced rock singer, who accompanies himself on guitar. He loves to bang out the music he sings to as he puts his own unique flavor on each and every song. Vinnie pours his heart and soul into every song and Live performance ....hoping to give something to each person In the audience. The Vinnie Show is all about having fun together! 

6pm Kinagree-Smith

They fused the melodic modalities of the Irish music traditions with an American Folk rock feel. The sound was both unique, and familiar at the same time.

7pm Winston Ackland

Winston has a gift with connecting with his audiences as they relax in the cozy atmosphere his presence creates and enjoy innovative songs crafted from a blend of rock, bossa nova, folk, blues and jazz.

Jamba LosAngeles performs music that haunts your heart with a smile. He plays a twelve string acoustic guitar and harmonica. His music has been heard regularly in Second Life since the beginning of SL time. Music that is "haunting in a beautiful way.". Covers songs that you have heard before, but, not like this...

The Dirty Grind Independent Artist Community proudly presents our newest Featured Visual Artist, Johannes1977 Resident. His gallery will be opening this Sunday, the 4th of September with three hours of live music at our main stage and featured gallery artist venue. David Csiszer will be opening the night at 5p, followed by Jamba LosAngeles at 6p and, finally, Phemie Alcott at 7p.

Johannes1977 Resident is one of the grids premier artists while concurrently a first life United States Marine Corps Officer, who did two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

While deployed in war zones, Johannes1977 Resident used his photography skills and his artistic outlook to capture his view of the wars and scenery. His passion for black and white photography, sepia and vintage tones are a signature glimpse into Johannes1977’s love of by-gone aesthetic.

Not only found behind the camera, Johannes1977 is also an instrumental force in supporting other artists with many wildly successful endeavours such as Kultivate Magazine (formally Windlight Magazine) and Windlight Galleries. His community of artists helps raise funds for various non-profits, and he even co-founded Team Diabetes of SL. Johannes1977 has a long resume of accomplishments within SL and it is an honour to announce him as the newest member of The Dirty Grind Independent Artist Community Family of artists, supporters and patrons.

Frogg was a vocal jazz minor at college, while Jay studied piano for 14 years, and together as singer/songwriters they have produced a comprehensive range of heartfelt and memorable melodies and poetically lyrical songs.

7pm Lyndon Heart

Lyndon Heart appears on SL's premiere stages and brings his eclectic repertoire of acoustic rock, folk, funk, and blues to an avid flock of digital fans. With a playlist that encompasses originals, popular covers, and lesser-known gems, Lyndon's shows are sure to include lots of your musical heart-shaped favorites!

Ian and I have come to an exciting time in the evolution of our

dream of a not-for-profit artist community in Second Life,

The Dirty Grind Independent Artist Community. As we near

our second anniversary, we are working to expand and

improve upon the already groundbreaking personalized

support we offer artists involved in Second Life and their

management team..




Our goal...our passion has always been to provide a haven

for artists in which creativity and community. flourishes. We

are here for our artists and wish to extend our reach as a

service organization.




The members of The Dirty Grind Family put their heart, soul,

time and much more into their art. We give them our resources

and experience so they can better concentrate on creating.




Ian and I share a background in music and business.




My background includes innovation and leadership in the international,

nonprofit sector, communication, creative writing and art knowledge

I am the founder and former president of a multi-national 501(c)3 and

an independent mixed media artist. Ian brings his experience

with corporate administration, as well as management history

with a brick and mortar live music venue.




We offer our artists and their management team our knowledge,

expertise, time and sim to help them and their team in many ways;
